"Promesse"Biography
"Promise" started in 2005. Actually, it all begin with a event entitled "Bountiful Blessings" that took place in Montreal on February 2005, when the minister Wilner Jean Jr. had to carry out a praise and worship time. From this moment, the worship leader decided to fully embrace a vision that he was godly called to fufill: Create a praise and worship ministry. The group gathers 10 singers and 7 musicians eager to put to profit their gifts and talents through gospel music in order to give their Lord and Savior the glory. Their song repertory mainly contains originals, but also songs from popular gospel artits. None of the group members had to audition to be part of Promise ministry but they were divinely chosen: The Lord certainly knew what He was doing. The name "Promise" was given only in 2007, realizing that God makes promises and there are many yet to come.
